12th KIT 10 km Championship

 

On Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., the 12th KIT Championship will take place. The race starts at the Institute of Sport (Engler-Bunte-Ring 15) and leads across Campus South, through the scenic Hardtwald forest, and finishes with a final sprint on the blue tartan track of the KIT Stadium.

 

The officially measured course is eligible for rankings, flat, fast, and runs almost entirely on paved paths.

Cycling campaign on July 1: "Cycle to Work"

On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the Occupational Health Management (BGM) of KIT will host a Bicycle Action Day from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Campus North in front of the canteen. The morning will be all about the bicycle as a healthy and sustainable means of transport.

All employees are warmly invited. A varied program awaits you, featuring information, practical tips, activities, and handy goodies. Highlights include health checks and professional bike fitting.

Registration is required for the bike fitting and the EMG muscle tone measurement.
