The project “Systematic Support and the Development of Structures for a Transparent Infrastructure for Mental Health in the Doctoral Process at KIT” – SUST(R)AINPRO-KIT – aims to systematically examine the burdens experienced by doctoral researchers and their impact on well-being and health.
In a participatory approach, the project works together with doctoral researchers to develop resources and structures that promote health and well-being throughout the doctoral journey.

12th KIT 10 km Championship
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., the 12th KIT Championship will take place. The race starts at the Institute of Sport (Engler-Bunte-Ring 15) and leads across Campus South, through the scenic Hardtwald forest, and finishes with a final sprint on the blue tartan track of the KIT Stadium.
The officially measured course is eligible for rankings, flat, fast, and runs almost entirely on paved paths.

Smoke-Free in May Campaign – Win up to 1,000 Euro!
Following the successful campaign in 2025 with over 21,000 participants, the “Smoke-Free in May” initiative returns in 2026.
Smokers aged 18 and over who regularly use cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or heated tobacco products can register at www.rauchfrei-im-mai.de until April 30, 2026. Participants who successfully quit smoking throughout May will have the chance to win prizes of up to €1,000.
