Welcome to KOMET

KOMET was founded at the IfSS with the aim of coordinating and bundling all activities related to motor testing.

KOMET works in the following fields of activity:

- Further development of motor tests
- Application of motor tests in scientific work
- Establishment and maintenance of a network of test experts and users
- Establishment and maintenance of a database of motor test data
- Technical development and programming
- Communication and service

 

KOMET includes the following projects:

DMT Logo
DMT 6-18

The German Motor Skills Test (DMT) enables the measurement and evaluation of motor skills in 6-18 year old children and adolescents. The DMT was developed by leading experts of the German Association for Sports Science (dvs).

The Fitness Barometer of the Kinderturnstiftung Baden-Württemberg, in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Klaus Bös, provides an annual answer to the question "How fit are the children in Baden-Württemberg"?

Foundation of the scientific advisory board

In the fall of 2021, the MO|RE data project team received a valuable addition in the form of the scientific advisory board. It consists of seven experts from the field of sports science and open science. Further information about the scientific advisory board can be found here.
