Call for Papers: Special Issue in the GJESR
Research Data Management in Sports and Exercise Science
In recent years, research data management (RDM) has become a topic of growing importance. The continuous expansion of data collection and analysis opportunities in sports science—driven by digitalization and technological advancements—has led to an exponential increase in the volume of available data.
This Special Issue aims to compile current developments in RDM within the German and international sports and exercise science communities, as well as related disciplines with a focus on sports and physical activity. It provides a platform to present and discuss innovative solutions, best practices, and future challenges.
We welcome contributions from researchers of all career stages and disciplines. We encourage the sharing of RDM strategies and their implementation within sports and exercise science, as well as technological innovations and initiatives that raise awareness of sustainable RDM in the academic context.
