The Central Student Advisory Service (ZSB) offers weekly clearing consultations for students who have to deal with special challenges while studying. Together, we look at how to better balance your studies and personal life. Students get guidance, personalized info, and support—from compensation for disadvantages to study planning to referrals to the right places. Family or caregiving responsibilities, health problems, or special challenges in everyday life—but also unexpected crises—can be reasons to take advantage of this service. The open consultation hours take place on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the ZSB; no appointment is necessary.

This counteracts existing barriers and is intended to enable equal opportunities for participation. The representative for students with disabilities and chronic illnesses provides advice and support in applying for compensation for disadvantages during the course of studies.
