ActivityKIT - The Activity Kit for KIT Students (Completed)

Project description

The ActivityKIT project primarily aimed to promote greater physical activity in the daily lives of KIT students. In doing so, the project sought to strengthen individual resources, health awareness, and health literacy. To achieve these objectives, ActivityKIT closely collaborated with the MyHealth project. The development and implementation of the project were largely student-centered, actively involving the target group itself — the students — in shaping the project through academic courses, research projects, or student assistant positions. As such, ActivityKIT pursued both practice-oriented and research-driven objectives.

ActivityKIT was part of the nationwide initiative "Bewegt studieren – Studieren bewegt! 2.0", supported by the Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) and the German University Sports Federation (adh). The project had also received funding during the first phase of the initiative (Bewegt studieren – Studieren bewegt! 1.0).
