KIT slipped to 5th place in the 6th adh high school run. The 54 participants covered a total of 464.27 kilometers (2024: 2nd place with 1434.73 kilometers out of 155 participants). KIT thus achieved 5th place in the 'Universities by kilometers' category behind OTH Amberg-Weiden, TU Dortmund University, the University of Göttingen and the Hessian University for Public Management and Safety (HöMS), which once again defended its title.

In the category 'Universities by altitude meters', KIT landed on the winner's podium and took 3rd place with 6278 altitude meters. HöMS (2nd place with 7960m) and OTH Amberg-Weiden (1st place with 8693m) completed the podium.

Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and the University of Arts and Design (HfG) also took part in the adh-Hochschullauf. In the 'Universities by kilometers' category, Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences achieved 44th place, and 64th place in the 'Universities by altitude meters' category. The HfG Karlsruhe ran to 79th and 41st place respectively.

In total, 838 participants covered almost 7,000 kilometers and over 65,000 meters of altitude in the adh-Hochschullauf 2025.
