On February 14, the German University Championships in Athletics took place in the Hartwig-Gauder-Halle in Erfurt. Six athletes from KIT and one athlete from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences took part, competing together as a team.

This year's adh Trophy Sailing was organized by Hochschulsport Hamburg on the Outer Alster. On August 15, ten teams from all over Germany arrived - including us from KIT, with two boats: Jan Erik Heinrich & Johannes Fischer and Moritz Clus & Jasmin Haupt. The results of our sailors were impressive.

The German University Judo Championships took place in Passau on December 6 and 7, 2025. Athletes from all over Germany traveled to compete at national level. The delegation from Karlsruhe was represented by a total of 25 judoka and competed with motivation on both competition days.

After a great 2024/25 season and an excellent 2nd place at the qualifying tournament in Düsseldorf, our 3 riders Leah Dieterich, Mona Matt and Sophia Bailer punched their ticket for the German University Championships in Halle an der Saale from December 4 to 7, 2025.

Fourteen athletes competed for WG Karlsruhe at the German University Championships (DHM) 2025 in Karlsruhe. The high sporting standard more than did justice to the largest ever DHM in taekwondo.

This year's Trampoline DHM took place in Kassel on the weekend of November 7 - 9. The WG Karlsruhe took part with 14 active and 4 former participants in synchronized and individual jumping and reported good results and great experiences.

Last week, university sports opened its doors and invited people to the annual winter kick-off in the sports halls of the Institute of Sport and Sports Science. Numerous students, staff and interested parties came to find out about the wide range of sports on offer and try out new sports.

KIT University Sports is changing its administration software for the WS 2025/26 course period. Here we inform you about the process in the new booking system and the associated app, the sports pass and the adapted conditions of participation.

The winter edition of the kickoff will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m., in Hall 2 AND Hall 1 of the IfSS, in buildings 40.44 and 40.40.
