The German College Ultimate Frisbee Championships took place on June 27 and 28. A total of 15 teams competed for the title in Heidelberg. Due to the extremely high temperatures, each game was played for 35 minutes. The tournament was played in the Real Mixed format, in which seven female and seven male players faced off for each point.

A total of four group stage games took place on Saturday. The Unibärchen from Karlsruhe secured commanding victories against Cologne and Bremen. They also prevailed against Erlangen-Nuremberg by a two-point margin in the midday heat. The most exciting game of the day, however, was the match against the host team, Heidelberg. Heidelberg managed to build a 5–2 lead thanks to a strong start. Karlsruhe, however, staged a comeback to tie the score at 7–7. Thanks to a better point differential compared to Heidelberg, Karlsruhe won the group and advanced to the quarterfinals.

The quarterfinal began on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. against Mainz. After a 10–7 victory, the “Unibärchen” advanced to the semifinals against Frankfurt. The match was very intense, as both teams started the game with great motivation and a lot of energy. In the end, Karlsruhe prevailed with a strong performance, securing a 10–6 victory. This sent Karlsruhe to the final against defending champion Munich. With great team spirit and a firm determination to win the title, the Unibärchen started the match strong and played at their best from the very beginning. Thanks to a strong defense, Munich was unable to get into the game. As a result, Karlsruhe was able to steadily pull ahead. With a commanding performance, the Unibärchen won the final 10–3, securing the title.

With this victory, Karlsruhe became the German collegiate Ultimate Frisbee champion for the eighth time, making it the sole record holder.
