The trampolinists from the university sports team, made up of students from KIT, HS and DHBW, were represented by 25 athletes, reinforced by alumni and fans. This contributed to the exceptionally large field of 240 jumpers. Only six of the jumpers were former club jumpers, the others first learned trampolining in university sports.

They competed in the individual and synchronized disciplines as well as in the team competition.

As expected with this number of participants, the standard of the competition was very high.

As a result, only Dorofee Bressem reached the final in the women's singles and came 8th with 83.05 points.
Although 10% of the competitors in the men's singles were from Karlsruhe, none of them reached the final. The best jumper was Daniel Kommerell, who came 31st with 47.9 points.

There were three finalists in the synchronized competition. Tim Köhler and Simon Bächle came 7th in the men's competition with 83.65 points.
In the mixed pairs, Dorofee Bressem and her partner from the University of Bonn came 6th with 102.82 points, followed by Vanessa Schmidt and Manuel Schweigert with 95.42 points.

Selina Meier and Leonie Heckele achieved the best score in the women's competition with 63.93 points in 18th place.

In the team competition, KIT 1 and KIT 2 came 14th and 15th out of 33 teams. Mathias Eich, Daniel Kommerell, Leonie Heckele and Selina Meier scored 147.05 points and Janina Kuper, Sandra Stärk, Dorofee Bressem and Steffen Knoth 146.7 points.

In spite of these results, most of the gymnasts were able to perform at their best and show new jumps or new exercises.
