DHM table tennis preliminary round in Göttingen
Last Wednesday, WG Karlsruhe 1 traveled to Göttingen for the DHM preliminary round.
The team did not get off to a good start and immediately suffered a 3:6 defeat against Saarbrücken.
In the second game, their opponents were the strongest team in the group of four. Unfortunately, they were unable to score a point against their hosts Göttingen and lost 6-0.
Now it was time to win the last match to qualify for the DHM intermediate round. With a good team performance, Karlsruhe won 6:1 against Aachen 2 and thus qualified for the intermediate round in 3rd place.
