On 12.10.2021, the "University Sports Start Day" took place for the first time on the grounds of the Sparda Sports Park of the @Institute of Sport and Sports Science (IfSS). With this event, university sports wanted to offer first-year students and all other interested parties the opportunity to get to know and try out the wide range of sports offered by university sports. In addition to information stands from University Sports, @Uni-Liga, @ActivityKIT and @Buddy-Program KIT, the HSP departments offered hands-on sports activities for visitors. Despite the modest weather, numerous interested people came to the sports grounds and got in touch with the sports. Visitors were able to put their talents to the test in triathlon, jazz dance, orienteering, squash, lacrosse, American football, diving, judo, headis, unicycling, sailing, soccer and rugby. The student start day was rounded off with delicious coffee and homemade cakes in the @heimspiel.
