The European University Table Tennis Championships took place in Burdur (Turkey) from September 10 to 17. The women's team from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with Alina Vydruchenko, Lisa Klett and Kiara Maurer also took part.

The Karlsruhe team got off to a strong start in the group phase: They confidently beat both Süleyman Demirel University and University College London 3:1 and 3:0 respectively. In the decisive group match against Zagreb, an exciting duel developed, which the KIT team won 3:2 after a tough battle.

As group winners, the players reached the quarter-finals. There they met the strong team from Warsaw, against whom they were defeated 0:3. In the end, the KIT women's team achieved a very good 5th place in the team competition, with which the team is extremely satisfied.

Overall, the team can look back on a successful tournament week with strong performances, valuable experiences and many wonderful memories.
