On February 14, 2026, the German Collegiate Track and Field Championships took place at the Hartwig-Gauder-Halle in Erfurt. Six athletes from KIT and one athlete from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences competed together as the Karlsruhe University Sports Association.

Julian Bowe secured his spot in the 60m final with a time of 7.17s in the preliminary round, where he achieved a season-best of 7.15s. He also competed in the long jump, where he brought home a bronze medal to Karlsruhe with a jump of 6.74m. Colin Schiller competed in both sprint distances. After clocking 7.32 seconds in the 60-meter dash, he ran the 200 meters in 22.81 seconds. Emma Striebel also competed in the 60-meter dash and qualified for the finals.

Johannes Hein can now call himself the German collegiate champion in the 800 meters, having won his race in 1:51.67 minutes. Also competing in the same race was his training partner Joel Tutzschky, who set a new indoor personal best with a time of 1:58.16 minutes, as well as road runner Jonathan Sieberg, who crossed the finish line in 2:16.75 minutes due to the fast initial pace. Tobias Kaloghlian secured another podium finish in the 60m hurdles; he clocked 8.59 seconds in the preliminary round and finished third in the final with a time of 8.61 seconds.

The 4x200-meter relay team (Tobias, Colin, Johannes, Joel) crossed the finish line in 1:31.28 minutes; although they narrowly missed victory against the team from Halle (1:31.06 minutes), they were able to round out a thoroughly successful day of competition by defending their runner-up title.
