From May 13 to May 16, 2026, two players from the Karlsruhe Student Residence competed in the DHM Tennis tournament in Tübingen. Milan Konrad advanced to the quarterfinals in the men’s singles, while Amelie Zabler was unfortunately eliminated in the first round of the women’s singles. A real highlight was the mixed doubles: After Milan and Amelie met for the first time on the opening day of the tournament, the duo clicked perfectly and—aided in part by their opponents’ injury-forced withdrawal—reached the semifinals, where they were ultimately defeated by the eventual tournament champions. Despite the persistent rain, which posed a challenge to the schedule, the enjoyable social program ensured a great atmosphere off the courts. Overall, the tournament was a thoroughly successful course that was a lot of fun for everyone involved.
