KIT table tennis team in DHM semifinals

Both in the preliminary round in Karlsruhe and in the intermediate round in Constance, the KIT table tennis team could convince by a united team performance and qualified for the final round of the German University Championships. Thus, the team belongs to the four best teams in Germany. In the intermediate round, our team around captain Fabian Rieger won 6:2 against the former German runner-up Freiburg and 6:0 against Konstanz. This means that there is still a chance of winning the title in 2012 and qualifying again for the European University Championships, in which they had already successfully participated in 2011 in Madeira.
