The first match of the day was played between WG Karlsruhe II and WG Munich, who made the trip to Karlsruhe with former professional and Bundesliga player Florian Schreiner and regional league player Michael Dudek, among others. They were able to hold their own against the Munich team in one or two games, but had no realistic chance of victory throughout the match and had to congratulate their opponents on their 6:0 opening win.

Munich then continued its run and also beat Karlsruhe I 6:1, with Niklas Braun scoring the point of honor for Karlsruhe. As a result, WG München secured their place in the final round, where they will be a hot contender for the title of German University Champion with this line-up.

In the final duel between Karlsruhe I and Karlsruhe II, the only thing left to play for was the result. Karlsruhe I won 6:1 against Karlsruhe II and secured second place in the final standings. Nevertheless, they missed out on a place in the final round, as only the first team in the group qualifies. Nonetheless, it was a successful event for the players and spectators with lots of great rallies.
