High-performance sport in the context of triathlon - lecture by world champion Daniel Unger

  • On January 27, 2024 at 6 p.m., Daniel Unger, a former successful short-distance triathlete with numerous World Cup victories and the World Championship title, will be coming to Karlsruhe! The Olympian will illustrate what high-performance sport looks like in the context of triathlon.

    The planning, training and daily life from the perspective of the athlete, but also the coach.


    Daniel Unger works full-time as a national base coach at the Olympic base in Saarbrücken. He and the coaching team in Saarbrücken are currently preparing some of the German short-distance elite for the challenges of the new season, including the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.


    Students are cordially invited to attend this inspiring lecture and gain insights into the world of triathlon and competitive sport in general.
