The table tennis department of the WG Karlsruhe is once again represented at this year's European Universities Championships (EUC) in table tennis. The team will be competing in Burdur (Turkey) with motivated players in the men's and women's teams. It will be a special premiere for the men's team, as all the players will be experiencing the atmosphere of an international university tournament for the first time.

The field of participants includes several strong university teams, as both last year's winning men's team, Nisantasi University, and the women's team, the University of Zagreb, are taking part again. The power density in the tournament will therefore once again be very high.

Our two teams are starting the tournament full of expectation. One player each comes from the 3rd Bundesliga, supplemented by other players with national experience. Both teams can therefore justifiably hope for good, hard-fought matches.

With this in mind, the objective is to give their best in every match and to try to use every single game as an opportunity as a team. It is a great opportunity for the athletes of WG Karlsruhe to compete against top-class opponents. In addition to the sporting challenge, the team is also looking forward to the international exchange, the shared experience of a major student sporting event, valuable experiences for the players and many unforgettable moments.
