KIT rowers triumph in Croatia

KIT rowers win gold and bronze at the EUSA Games in Croatia.

Four-in-hand takes bronze

German participants won numerous medals at the EUSA Games 2016 in Zagreb and Rijeka, Croatia. Our rowers from Karlsruhe won the gold medal in the men's four.

Andreas Von Borstel, Lars von Deyn, Simon Gessler and Maximilian Jan Oskar Schäfer beat teams from Newcastle University (England) and the University of Split (Croatia) with a time of 6.24.96 minutes over the 500 meters.

Our women's double four was also successful. They achieved an outstanding third place with a great performance.

We congratulate our teams who represented KIT, university sports and their entire department magnificently. We are proud of you!
