Johanna Flacke nominated for the World Cross-Country Championships in Morocco

On March 7, the World Cross-Country Championships will take place in Morocco. Among the athletes nominated by the adH is a cross-country runner from KIT.

The competition will take place in the former capital of Morocco, Marrakesh. Six participants have been nominated by the ADH for both the women's and men's events. The nomination was based on the results of the cross-country race in Darmstadt last November.

Johanna will arrive with the team on March 5 to inspect the course and the general conditions in order to ensure the best possible preparation for the competition. The competition will then take place on Saturday, March 7, starting with the women at 11:30 and the men at 12:30. After the award ceremony, there will be a dinner and the closing ceremony in the evening. The departure follows on Sunday.

University Sport wishes Johanna and her team every success.

[Unfortunately, the World Championships have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic]
