KIT University Sports is changing its administration software for the WS 2025/26 course period. We want to simplify the booking and administration of the sports program. Herewith we inform you about the most important changes.

Course booking and administration will be possible from the start of the registration phase at https://mein-hochschul.sport.kit.edu and in the KIT University Sports app for cell phones:

We have also redesigned the registration and booking management for you: With your customer account, you have all information easily available at a glance.

Registration for KIT students and employees is now possible via SingleSignOn with your KIT ID. This also applies to our cooperation institutions (HS Karlsruhe, DHBW Karlsruhe). For all other user groups, manual registration with subsequent confirmation from the HSP Sports Department is required.

HSP Sportpass

The HSP Sportpass replaces the basic semester fee and is a prerequisite for booking the sports offer. With the new HSP Sportpass, you can also book various sports facilities and special courses free of charge - additional fees apply for our courses and PlayNow offers. A refund of the HSP Sportpass is not possible.

Offers from the walk-in health center and company sports are excluded from the HSP Sportpass. Bookings can still be made via our homepage:

Allocation of course places

The new system makes it possible to allocate places more fairly by drawing lots for selected courses without performance requirements (general and beginner courses). Participants can book and prioritize up to three courses by drawing lots:

1 = high priority

2 = medium priority

3 = low priority

You will find an overview of the courses involved in the lottery when you register. All other courses are allocated "first come, first serve".

The registration procedure with course lottery works as follows:

13.10.2025                             Start of registration phase for course places

21.10.2025, 23:59                 End of registration phase for course places

22.10.2025, 10:00 a.m.        Start of the lottery period, acceptance deadline for course places = 23h after place offer*

26.10.2025, 23:59                 End of the lottery period

27.10.2025                             Course start

* Course place lottery for remaining places daily 10:00 am (repeated until the end of the lottery period, if necessary)
