Student representatives
The IfSS Student representatives is the self-organized representation of all sports students at KIT. It supports the interests of students of all sports courses and supports prospective students in all matters relating to sports studies at KIT. Other tasks and activities of the Student representatives include:
- University policy activities as members of the Faculty Council, the Study Commission and the Examination Board
- Preparatory course for the sports entrance examination
- Communication with teachers
- Organisation and implementation of the orientation phase
- Event organisation (e.g. Summer festival, fresher’s lodge)
- Identity formation within the sports student body
- Purchases (e.g. basketball nets, table football)
- Regular implementation of a DKMS fundraiser
- Fundraiser in support of "SportlerHERZ"
Since 2017, the Student representatives has been part of the club for Sport and Health Promotion. Each member actively supports us in the work of the Student representatives. Information on joining can be obtained in person or at fachschaft∂sport kit edu.
